The numbers come out pretty comparable to what I calculated. The difference is probably due to the tire circumference I used vs. what your calculator uses for circumference based off the tire sizes.

You should change the name to SAAB 99/C900 because Vintage SAAB implies you've got gear ratios for the other two digit cars....

True. I use a "loaded" tire diameter that accounts for tire squish. You'll see it when I post the numbers.

Some people has copy my gearbox, so all my work under 20 years developing this gearbox is down the drain.

I never heard about any copies.


There Is a manaufacture In England that can make a copy of the S&R gearset for about 1800 £ each if you order 10 sets.

That really stinks. Maybe that's why I haven't heard anything back from the email I sent. It's too bad because if someone is copying them Roger doesn't want to make any but we also don't know who is copying them so we can't get any of those either. I would like to support Roger and his development efforts and buy a set from him!

Yes theres a couple of manufactures in England.

I have made a recuest.

But you need some drawings, or "and maybe" a gearset to copy.
Almost every manufacture have a minimum order of 10 sets.

Thats pretty much for a private buyer.
