Hopefully!
Maybe?
I'm going to try to coerce the gang to come out for one more weekend to get it going. Its so close but I dont even have the hood or trunk fabricated yet and the doors are not painted. There are nagging wiring issues that need to be dealt with also.
Then Theres also all the chassis setup stuff like alignment etc that needs to be done. Finally theres the small hurdle that I don't have the car titled, registered or insured

Dude, when do you ever have to coerce me to come out and help! I'm down for making some composites and creating more wiring issues.
I think getting it in drivable form to showcase at Carlisle is doable.. just let me know when to show up.

What are you doing this weekend?
Calipers came in the mail today and I just ordered the rest of the stuff the car should need to run.. have full intention of driving a hoodless, doorless, trunkless 99 up and down the road on sunday
P.S flashers only blink left side and turn signal (both right and left) blink all lights, lol.
Another successful weekend of turning 20 minute tasks into 8 hour ordeals!
Jordan and I attacked the car and accomplished the following:
Fixed all electrical bugs and wired a few more circuits
Wired fuel level gauge
mounted latches on fuel pump cover
mounted latches on fuel cell cover
mounted fuel cell straps
Mounted and adjusted shifter with custom shifter rod
fabricated custom throttle linkage system
Connected all soft brake lines and covered with sheathing
Final mounted all rear shocks and springs
Adjusted front shock mounts and welded in spacers on bolts for ease of service
Assembled/installed axles with brand new CV's, redline grease and new boots
Mounted front calipers and pads
Mounted intercooler and mounted bracket to hold
Mounted intake plumbing
mounted oil pressure sender
Mounted master kill switch between seats
Bled clutch
Mounted intercom
Wired Rally computer

Some updated shots of the aftermath of the weekend:
My custom coil over hats were sent out with the brake adapters, now they are annodized
Heres what I spent the better part of sunday on....
Its a linkage system that sits on top of the fire wall and converts the rod linkage off the pedal into a cable pull to work the throttle, meanwhile circumventing clearance issues with other stuff. This is a good example of the domino effect... how moving one simple thing results in having to make 18 custom parts to make everything else work.
Here are the rear brakes all plumbed... will probably get swapped out for the wilwood setup eventually (now that we have adapters).
We still need to build a wheel scraper setup to prevent excessmud buildup prolems we have had in the past.
Here is the front suspension and brakes all assembled and ready for action:
The shifter and linkage installed with a nice little grommet for the firewall pass-through:
The intercom is installed:

The highlight of the weekend was when we tried bleeding the clutch and Luke tells me to push on the pedal. I naturally heard "push on the brake" , and he continued to open and close the bleeder on the clutch and push on the brake pedal until Luke gives me a puzzled look and realized what we were trying to do.
That and Josh's interpretations of the "bicycle song".
I was thinking on the drive home about the fact that besides the body shell, axles, wheels, internal engine components , block, and a few windows... every single part on this car has been either hand built, or an aftermarket part that uses some kind of hand built adapter. Ridiculous!

This project is coming along quite nicely. After seeing all the pictures of it coming together I think it will be pretty cool to see the end product in person (STPR? Carlisle?).
