I've been following this thread since day 1 - It is an inspiration and I take my hat off to you.
Out of interest - what do you reckon is the estimated cost of this project???

I havent directly tracked expenses on the project, all the little parts add up to a lot, but really the biggest expense has been time. Over the past 8 months I've spent at at least 40 hours a week average working on the project, on top of a normal 55 hour per week day job. That dosent leave a lot of time for anything else!

Ya, thanks for this thread luke and team! I always enjoy seeing the progress being made on this car.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: just makes me wish I had the time and money to build a rally car as well as you guys have done here (and your current 99 for that matter).

Building the "bulkhead" box for the fuel pumps and filter
Rear axle trip prob fitted with HDPE rock guard
Fuel pumps and filters in the new box
Aircraft hardware all the suspension mounts.
The knuckle sporting triangulation of the top mount and the jaguar ball joint
The fuel pump box in place behind the seat
One last shot of the clean engine bay

Rock guard?
So on that Shaguar balljoint, is the distance between the pivot point and the spindle the same as the stock joint? (are they the same height?)
Yep, otherwise the hat of the rear disc acts as a rocktumbler and makes quick work of destroying the rally computer probe. Its cut from a 3/16" sheet of HDPE and secured by the old dust sheild bolts. We did the same thing with the other car and its worked well.
The jaguar ball joint is almost identical in terms of distance from the top of the taper to center of the ball pivot.
