Re: G-stock or DSP build
I've seen water injection used in n/a engines for the same off boost reasons I have. Especially use full in high compression engines a small amount of anti detonant will allow much more aggressive timing using lower octane.

Re: G-stock or DSP build
IMHO, don't worry about the engine, except do what you can to minimize lag (by which I mean learn to left-foot brake).
You can add one swaybar in stock -- add a rear bar. Lots of people put front bars on FWD cars, but that's because they have camber-challenged MacStrut suspensions; you don't, thankfully.
Add lots of neg. camber (start with -2.5*), run no toe or even a little toe out if you can stand it on the street.
The top drivers of the once-dominant Acura Type R, which had 5.5-inch rims, all ran 225/45s up front, 205/50s in the rear. Yes, the are very pinched and difficult to mount, but they are faster. (I'm assuming you are running Hoosiers or other DOT race tires.)
If you want to spend more money, get some good shocks. There are a number of shops that can valve your shocks for a stock autocrosser.
Have fun!

Re: G-stock or DSP build
The car currently is sitting on some specially valved bilstein Shocks and has a large rear bar. I have 205/50/15 Hoosiers for ir . Basically the chassis is all set to go but the engine is not as of yet, it will be soon. Half of my plans for tuning is to help response the other half is to make it more consistent.

Re: G-stock or DSP build
If getting lots of stuff delivered makes UPS hate you, I'm probably on their hit list. Typically there isn't a day that goes by where they don't have to stop at my house
Less brake more gas!

Re: G-stock or DSP build
I now have a graphics plan for my 99t. Class and number are not set yet but here is the rough idea pic.
I am taking delivery this Saturday so actual photos will be forthcoming.

Re: G-stock or DSP build
My photo shop skills are zero so this is the best I could do. My vinyl guy said he can easily do the full rally graphics. So this probably is a preliminary sketch...

Re: G-stock or DSP build
I finally have a Saab in my garage!!!!!
It was a challenge getting her home but she is here.
As I found her
a quick bath and she looked 1000% better.
the truck got stuck trying to scale the drive we had to get a second truck to get it up the drive.
btw
yes thats a 58k 99 turbo

home at long last
