Ok you've talked me out of 88+ brakes.
New question. Will those fancy handbrake wilwoods fit on the front of a 86-87 hub?

Two steps forward, one back?
But seriously it will mount to the front right? That would simplify the handbrake.

Right the adapters or for the rear.
But the Forged Powerlite w/ handbrake will fit on the front without adapters?

The Powerlites are a radial mount caliper. The Dynapro NDL is the caliper for the front.

I see. Got it.
I was looking at this site. http://www.motamec.com/catalogsearch/re ... +handbrake
Will either of those work for the rear?

Right, and I would need the 22mm flavor, correct?

13mm. I investigated using front vented disks and on the rear (they will bolt on), but the rears see so little heat that it didn't seem worth it, but it is possible with some adjustements to the bracket and using the 22mm calipers to run the vented disks in the rear too..
Re: wilwood caliper adapter group buy. 99 and 900 pre 88
Oh yeah they are solid in the rear. Last 900 I owned with 87 brakes was 10 years ago.
Crazyswede, I am in for a set.

I've heard that the wilwoods are not as reliable for a street car, especially one that may be driven in the weather. Is this true?
I've also considered re-drilling the 4x8 hubs to 4x114. Not to derail the original thread, but any thoughts?
I would say what you've heard is false. I've had a set on my daily driver for about 2-1/2 years now, with no issues. I pulled them all apart about a year ago and everything was looking just fine.

Dynapro NDL? I can't seem to find these on Wilwoods site.
Guessing it's the Narrow DynoPro lug mount?

They may have phased out the NDL (Narrow Mount Dynalite) for the NDP (Dynapro) like you saw.

The calipers I just ordered all came from Summit racing. Here is the part number for the rears: WIL-120-8724

We are ready to take orders on the brake adapters. The cost is $110 for a pair of adapters with hardware and then will be sent through the postal service. You can send a "Gift" paypal to seth.strait@gmail.com. When everyone is paid we will start the run.
